Creative Nature NYC partners with schools and libraries across New York City to offer imaginative, eco-inspired programs that blend art, science, and storytelling. Our hands-on, project-based experiences invite children to explore the world through creativity — transforming everyday materials into meaningful works of art.

Whether as an after-school program, in-school residency, special workshop, or summer adventures, our offerings are fully customizable for Pre-K through 5th Grade and designed to engage learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Re-Fashion Lab: Designing the Future Transform recycled textiles into bold wearable art while exploring sustainability, design thinking, and personal expression.

Form & Clay: Sculpting Life & LandscapesInvestigate biodiversity through hand-sculpted clay forms — from seed pods to creatures of the imagination.

Color Quest: Natural Pigment Expeditions Extract colors from plants, minerals, and soil to create your own vibrant, one-of-a-kind paints and dyes.

Jewelry & Objects from the Wild Craft treasures using seeds, stones, and found natural materials while learning about eco-conscious design.

Community Superheroes: Comics for a Changing Planet Invent climate-conscious comic heroes, design stories, and reflect on community and the environment.

Little Architects: Building Greener Cities Imagine and build sustainable city models using recycled materials and creative design principles.

 

Our Philosophy

At Creative Nature NYC, we believe in the transformative power of art, nature, and experimentation to ignite curiosity and deepen connection to the world around us.

Our curriculum invites children to express themselves through a rich variety of creative languages — drawing, sculpting, painting, sewing, storytelling, rhythm, and movement — where the boundaries between art, science, and invention beautifully blur.

As artists and educators with expertise in the visual arts and a passion for ecology, we foster critical thinking, collaboration, and environmental awareness, while nurturing each child’s unique creative voice.

All of these programs are fully customizable for Pre-K to Grade 8, and can be adapted for after-school, residency, or in-class formats.
